#513Shard Supernova

Three concentric icosphere shells — inner shards big and coarse, outer ones fine and many, ~2900 in all — detonate in sequence, inner to outer, a chained blast wave rather than one throb. Every shard flies on the analytic solution p = p0 + v·f(t): in the fast phase it streaks along its velocity into a light dash, and on the way home it overshoots and rings into place, still perfectly reversible. Each detonation flings a camera-facing additive shockwave ring that expands and cools violet, and the central core anticipates the blast — contracting and dimming — then bursts white-hot with a cross flare. The palette runs white-hot core to orange to outer violet.
