#512Obelisk Resonance Field

A dense plain of obsidian obelisks over a cracked ground. Four seismic epicentres leap to random spots every few seconds and radiate concentric rings — a white-hot leading pulse trailing a decaying ringing tail — that interfere as they cross. Each passing ring lifts and leans the obelisks and runs a bright band up their flanks, cooling amber to cyan in the afterglow, while the ground lights its cracks as the wavefronts sweep over it. Every twenty-odd seconds a rogue wave crosses the whole field: the struck band bows and flares white in unison, then the plain sinks to near-black silence and slowly recovers. Drag to orbit the camera and scroll to dolly — it eases back into its cinematic drift when released; holding the pointer also hastens the quakes.
