#497Glyph Event Horizon
A ribbon of text in a decaying orbit around a black hole. The word circles as a glowing band, but the space it crosses is curved: a gravitational deflection drags the band’s apparent radius inward, so the letters nearest the hole are tidally stretched along their orbit — spaghettified type — while a second, fainter image of the same text runs backwards along the photon ring, the light having taken the long way round. Inside the horizon nothing escapes: the disc is absolute black, rimmed by the thin blazing ring of trapped light. Hover to drag the black hole across the frame and watch the text smear around it; press to feed the hole — its mass grows, the band spirals tighter and the stretching turns violent.
