#278Lissajous Curves
An oscilloscope Lissajous figure — (sin(a·t + φ), sin(b·t)) — that coils and uncoils as the frequency ratio a:b and phase φ sweep, drawn as a glowing line via the analytic minimum distance to the parametric curve. A faint persistence ghost trails behind in phase and a bright phosphor dot chases the trace head, giving one big morphing figure a live CRT feel. The mouse sets the frequency ratio (X) and phase (Y), scrolling sweeps the phase, and a press thickens the beam.
