#279Conway's Soup

Conway's Game of Life started from a random soup that self-organises into still lifes, blinkers and gliders. Each cell is coloured by a heat ramp of its age — hot newborns cooling toward the blue of long-stable structures — and a fading ember trail marks where cells recently died, so the die-off dynamics read clearly. With no random-spawn trickle the soup is allowed to actually settle, and once it has a fresh soup is dropped, looping forever. Drag paints cells, a press drops a new random soup, and scroll changes the sim speed.
