The gear ratio (R, r, d) morphs continuously so the pattern breathes between forms, while three layered pens at slightly different radii lay down a multi-colour figure, and a reveal head sweeps the arc length so the curve traces itself over and over. Mouse XY sets the radius ratio (X) and pen throw (Y), scrolling widens or narrows the pens, and a press picks a new colour set.
