#526Impossible Triangle

A Penrose tribar that can only exist as a flat illustration. Three square-section beams run along the world X, Y and Z axes as an open staircase path; viewed with an orthographic camera down the (1,1,1) magic axis, the far end lands on the same screen point as the start and the path closes into a perfect impossible triangle. Cel shading quantised into three flat bands plus a dark inverted-hull outline make it read as a printed figure. The camera dwells long at the illusion point with only the light band drifting, then a quaternion-slerp orbit tips off the magic axis and the tribar breaks apart into three disjoint beams, holds a beat at maximum disarray, and slerps back until the illusion re-seals. On the sketch’s own page, drag to orbit the view and hunt for the magic axis yourself — release and it springs back to the choreography.
