#491Fractal Dyson Lattice

A star in a cage built by someone with three sizes of girder. The Dyson shell is a beam lattice repeated at three nested scales — a coarse frame, a finer truss inside it, and a hairline mesh inside that — wrapped onto a sphere and turning slowly around its captive sun. The beams are polished titanium: each hit reflects a procedural sky whose one light source is the star itself, so every girder carries a warm glint on its sunward face and a cold violet sheen on its shadow side. And through every gap in the truss the starlight escapes as volumetric god rays, integrated along each view ray, so the whole cage hangs in a halo of leaking radiance that flickers as the lattice turns through it. Hover to orbit the megastructure, scroll to pull the camera in and out, and press to flare the star until the rays flood the gaps.
