#356Blood Cell Flow

A brightfield capillary in cross-section: biconcave red blood cells stream with the plasma, squeezing and elongating as they file through a narrowing where the lumen pinches, with an occasional large rolling white cell and tiny lilac platelets threaded between them. The pointer bends the vessel path, scroll drives the blood pressure (flow speed), and a press seeds a thrombus at the constriction that stalls the stream.
