A great drift of metal wreckage — boxes and tetrahedra — tumbling chaotically in zero gravity, each chunk spinning on a precessing axis for a Dzhanibekov-like flutter. Two volumetric searchlights of different colour temperature, evaluated as cone masks with no real lights, sweep across the swarm; debris on a beam path flares up in turn so the depth of the cloud is revealed as the light passes, while distance fog sinks the far chunks into the dark.
