#421Droste Recursive Text
The word nested into itself forever: a log-polar transform periodizes the zoom (the Escher Droste trick), so rings of type wind endlessly toward a vanishing centre that never arrives. Angle picks the letters around each ring, log-radius stacks the rings, and a spiral shear coils the whole field so it reads as a self-similar spiral rather than a straight tunnel. It pulls inward at a constant speed on its own, the hue cycling around; the pointer drags the vanishing centre, scrolling drives the zoom speed and can reverse it, and a press flares the ink.
