A swarm of sungrazing comets streams inward and plunges toward the star. Each is an icy nucleus towing a flagellating tail — a phase-offset sine trail whipping behind it — and the pack falls in along the gravity well, jostling and crowding as it grazes the surface before the comets respawn and stream in again. The star burns inside its warm corona. Pointer moves the star, scroll tightens the infall (a denser, straighter plunge), press releases an extra shower of comets.
