#327Crumpled Gold Foil

A scrap of gold foil crushed and half-smoothed again. A Voronoi partition tiles the plane into flat little facets, each a single crumple plane pointing a random constant direction. Several key lights rake across at once and each facet is lit with a very tight pow(dot(N,L), 32) specular, so it either catches a light dead-on and flares white-gold or falls into warm shadow — the highlights pop per-facet like real foil rather than smearing into a sheen. The cell seeds and facet tilts drift slowly so the flares crackle and travel across the crumple. Move the pointer to drag an extra light over the sheet.
