Heat is mapped through a thermal LUT built in Oklab (deep background → cold blue → violet → amber → near-white), overlaid with faint isotherm contours and a shimmering heat wobble over the hottest zones. Left alone, a virtual pointer lingers to build cores then travels slowly, dragging comet-like tails.
